This is the English national governing body for swimming, diving, water polo, open water and synchronised swimming. It supports affiliated swimming clubs through a National/Regional/and sub-regional structure. It endeavours to ensure every athlete - whatever their age or level of experience - belongs to a club that provides the best possible support and environment through schemes such as swim21, the ASA's 'Quality Mark' for clubs. Their website contains lots of useful advice informationSee: www.swimming.org

Inspirational swimmer Adam Peaty is a breaststroke specialist, and is training for Rio 2016 with City of Derby. He is from Uttoxeter and starting swimming at Uttoxeter Swimming club under our own head coach Dafila Bourchier!




   Swimline: Protecting children
     The ASA with the NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) operates Swimline. 

Swimline was launched over 10 years ago and is a confidential freephone number provided for anyone involved in aquatics, adults or children, who believe that the welfare of someone under the age of 18 is at risk.  This concern could be neglect, abuse, bullying or fear of someone or anything that is worrying you and you don’t know who to discuss it with.



Results & Rankings
Here you can look up live results, results from the last 12 months, personal best times and all sorts of interesting data. A really interesting feature is also rankings for individual swimmers. See where you rank for your age and stroke in the country! If you are a member of the ASA and have attended licensed events you will be listed.

Now run by Kyle & Diane (ex swimmer!) they have supplied trophies and engraved these free of charge. The John Stubbs Intermediate Individual Medley trophies were originally supplied by them. 


Trouw Nutrition GB (Ex Frank Wright) Suppliers of innovative animal nutrition products including premixes, minerals and other nutritional ingredients. Leaders in laboratory and forage analysis.
Trouw have been involved with sponsoring the Club for many years too-hence the Junior IM Frank Wright Trophy.

Master Mover are the leading manufacturer of battery powered, pedestrian-operated electric tugs used to move heavy wheeled loads of 50kg -120tons safely and efficiently. Master Mover are our most recent sponsors. The  cups for the fastest male and female swimmers are appropriately named The Master Mover Blue Ribbon Cups.

Sainsburys were founded by John Sainsbury at a shop in Drury Lane in London in 1869. Sainsburys, Ashbourne, opened in Jan 1998. Sainsburys promise is ‘Live well for Less’, They have sponsored The Club indirectly by letting us Bag-Pack for several years now and in 2014 made a very generous donation towards new T shirts.
